Emory Wade WilsonJasper, AL - Funeral service for Emory Wade Wilson, 77, will be Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Gene Carver officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Wilson died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Brookwood Health Services in Walker Co.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Carol L Wilson, his parents, an infant sister, brother, Donnie Wilson, grandchildren, Zachary, Ashly and Haven.  Mr. Wilson was a US Army Veteran, a Shelby Co. sheriff deputy for 4 years, and 30 years in the automobile industry.  He also was an avid HAMM radio operator.He is survived by three sons, Roger (Jenny) Wilson of Jasper, AL, Ricky (Jennifer) Wilson of Austin, TX and Steven (Cindy) Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Whitaker of LaGrange, GA; two brothers, Ronnie (Joyce) Wilson and Bobby (Linda) Wilson both of Sylacauga, AL.
