Faye "Murline" Taunton

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Faye "Murline" Taunton, 81, will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Taylor Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Alpine, AL.

Mrs. Taunton died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Taunton, parents, Tom and Vera Mae Coleman, sister, Glenda Weeks, and sister, Harriet Reamer. Mrs. Taunton was a lifetime member of Tallasahatchie Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dianne (Dewayne) Owens, Charlene (Glenn) Brooks; son, Timothy Taunton; seven grandchildren, Stephen Taunton, Christy (Nathan) Deason, Amanda Helton, John (Brandi) Helton Jr., Reba Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Dustin (Kasie) Taunton; sister, Eleanor Jones; two brothers, Buford Coleman, Mervin Coleman; ten great-grandchildren, Brittany Thornton, Abigail Taunton, Natalee Deason, Arabella Deason, Micah Deason, Emma Belcher, Brighton Reaves, Camden Gann, Elijah Taunton, Emmalynn Taunton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
