Frances Louise Davis Benefield MaddoxKahatchee, AL - Funeral service for Frances Louise Davis Benefield Maddox, 82, will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Wesley Higginbotham officiating.  Burial will be in Kahatchee Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mrs. Maddox went to be our Lord on Monday, February 4, 2013.    She was 82 years old and had battled with alzheimer’s since 2001.  She was a loving mother, wife, mother-in-law and grandmother.  She came to know our Lord as her savior about 23 years ago.  She loved going to church and Sunday school.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Maude Blanton and dad, Ad Davis; two husbands, Hubert Benefield and Milton Maddox and half siblingsShe is survived by one daughter, Cathe Benefield Vick, son-in-law Lester Vick; 2 grandchildren, Clay Vick (Bree), Jessica Vick (Stephanie Smith), one great granddaughter, Marley Vick; 2 stepdaughters-in-law, Donna Maddox and Frances Maddox; stepson Bruce Maddox (Jennifer) and 6 step grandchildren, Amy Maddox, Carrie Anderson, Clint Maddox, Mark Maddox Kelley Lansford and Drew Maddox; half-brothers, Johnnie Davis, wife Annette, Roger Davis and Wiley Davis all of Sycamore; half-sisters, Nordene Epperson, husband Lamar of Sycamore, Lucille Castleberry, husband Charles of Pell City, Alice Blair of Peel, AR and Elsie Edwards, husband John of Harrison, AR.Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Clay Vick, Austin Brunfeldt, Clint Maddox, Sonny Bradford and Wren Benefield.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles (Chuck) Benefield, Bruce Maddox and Franklin Benefield.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
