Sylacauga, AL - Franklin H. Bryant, age 63, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Franklin was born in Sylacauga, Alabama to Helen Bryant and Hubbard Bryant.
Franklin is survived by his mother, Helen Bryant; sister, Mitzi Carroll (Tony); brother, Mark Bryant; sister, Myra Bryant; brother, Joel Bryant; children, Shea Bryant, Tamra Bryant; grandchild, Camden Dennis-Bryant; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Franklin was preceded in death by his father, Hubbard Bryant; and his brother, Leslie Bryant.
He served with the Army in Afghanistan where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. A man of God, Franklin was a minister serving the Lord for many years and in many places. He was a handyman and carpenter. He enjoyed going to nursing homes and singing for the residents.
A visitation for Franklin will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Pastor Tony Thornburg officiating.
Franklin will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, AL 35150.
