George Crumpton, age 80, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. George was born May 16, 1941.

George is survived by his wife, Myra Crumpton; his daughter Lory Carden (Don); his brother Lynn Crumpton and his sister Sharon McEwen; his granddaughter Allison Brett Ousley (Reese) and his great granddaughter Joanna Faith Ousley.

George was preceded in death by his brothers Terry Crumpton and Ricky Crumpton.

A graveside for George will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Pastor Randy Roberson will officiate over the service.

Serving as pallbearers are Don Carden, Reese Ousley, Vachel Sims, Gary Prince, Brent Hobbs and Richard Keeton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in George's memory may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church; Gideons; St. Jude; and PKD Foundation.
