Alpine, AL. - Funeral service for George Ervin Fowler, age 72, will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Weogufka Family Worship Center with Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Weogufka Family Worship Center Cemetery in Weogufka, AL.
Mr. Fowler passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. George was born October 13, 1948 to Gladys Fowler McGrady and Wade Hampton Fowler.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice Fowler; son, Anthony Shaun Fowler (Susan Carty); grandchild, Alexis Fowler, grandchild, Alyssa Fowler and great-grandchild, Bryson Flint; brother, Wayne Fowler (Sandra), brother, Don Fowler (Nena), sister, Linda Hatchet (Wayne) and brother, Robert W. Fowler (Melissa).
George was preceded in death by father, Wade Hampton Fowler and mother, Gladys Fowler McGrady.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Weogufka Family Worship Center.
