George Franklin Tarwater, born on June 25, 1956, in Alabama, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 69.

He was a resident of Sylacauga, Alabama.

George is survived by his siblings, Tim Tarwater (Shelia), Jimmy Tarwater (Dianne) as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arzo Tarwater and Augusta Sims Tarwater, and siblings, Arzo Tarwater, Jr., Milton Tarwater, Maria Stewart, Mary Ann Tinsley, and Jackie Brooks.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, located at 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama, on January 3, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.

A graveside service will follow at Tallasahatchie Cemetery at 11:00 am with Rev. Wayne Walker officiating.
