SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Helen Louise Templeton Teaford, 96, will be at Curtis and Son North Chapel, April 29, 2010, 11 A.M. with the Rev. Tommy Reaves, & Dr. Michael Trull officiating with burial in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Teaford died April 27, 2010 at Mountain View Lake Retirement Village, Sylacauga, AL.

She was preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Wayne Teaford; (7) Brothers, (2) Sisters; Grandsons, Chris Gay and Dusty Myrick.

She was a member of Marble City Baptist Church since 1961 where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Mrs. Teaford loved to draw, paint and go on camping trips. She loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Ernie W. Teaford and wife Brenda of Sylacauga, Al.; daughter, Susan Teaford Myrick of Sylacauga, Al; sister, Frances Darnell of Cartersville, Ga.; grandchildren, Jason (Stefanie) Teaford, Traci (Shane) Martin, Jodi Teaford (Bart) Shaw, Terra (Doug) DeLoach, Shandi (Tony) Kellum; (13) great grandchildren, (1) Great Great Grandchild .

Pallbearers will be Jason Teaford, Shane Martin, Justin Martin, Bart Shaw, Tony Kellum, Doug DeLoach.

Honorary pallbearers are Scott Templeton, Lewis Templeton, George Scott Templeton, Murell Darnell, Harvey Templeton.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 28, 5:30-8:00 at Curtis & Son North Chapel.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
