Isaac Donald (I.D.) Chappell

Mr. Isaac Donald (I.D.) Chappell age 82 of Sylacauga passed away on June 22, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral Services for Mr. Chappell will be on Saturday June 25, 2011 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday June 24, 2011 from 5-8PM at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Survivors are Wife; Doris Chappell of Sylacauga, Al; Son; Donald (Lucretia) Chappell of Alexander City, Step-Daughter; Kitty (Fredie) Williams of Pell City, Al. Step-Sons; Randy (Penny) Newton of Enterprise, Al, Bryan Allen of Sylacauga, Al, Grandchildren; David and Ben Chappell. Step-Grandchildren; Maddison, Chandler, Addison and Molly. Sister; Minnie Ruth Morris of Sylacauga, Al. Pallbearers; Bell Stewart, Bobby Edwards, Bill Dennis, Doug Merkle, James Meade and Scott Perry. Mr. Chappell was preceded in death by Mother Exa Chappell and Father; William Albert Chappell. Three Brothers; Fred, Milton and Henry Chappell. Three Sisters; Mary Alice Bogle, Hattie Harding and Willie Jo Chappell. Mr. Chappell was a loved man, a Godley man and a gentle man. He was a member of First Church of God of Oak Grove, WWII Vet and a Fifty year Mason and worked on the Appolo Space program, and a very good dad and a very beloved husband. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
