Jackie worked as a NICU nurse for 35 years at UAB. She loved shopping, especially at yard sales, and hunting for antiques. Most of all she loved her kids and grandkids and was a mother to all.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Laman (Lonnie); grandchildren, Trey Laman, Jada Williams (Caleb), and Ava Laman; and great-grandchild, Evie Williams. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Ann Waldrop (Butch), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher Paul Cannon; her parents, Everett and Mary McGuire; and her brother, Danny McGuire.
A visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, located at 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama, 35150, on February 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at the same location in the chapel, starting at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tommy Thornton officiating.
