James (Jimmy)  PopeSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for James (Jimmy)  Pope, 77, will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Mooney Cemetery in Weogufka, AL.Mr. Pope died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his parents, J. D. and Sarah Ruth Pope; sister, Judy Wilson; grandchildren, Bradley Allen Waites, Lukas James Murray, Brandy Marie Waites and Sarah Calloway Murray and his first wife, Glenda Calloway Pope.He is survived by his wife, Myrtice Pope of Sylacauga; daughters, Felicia Kelley, husband Gene of Weogufka, Jamie Murray, husband Tim of Stewartville, and Patti Waites, husband Allen of Alpine; sister, Melissa Mizzell, husband Melvin of Sycamore; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday May 8, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Greg Hallman, Josh Culver, Todd Brown, Mel Palmer and Mike Reynolds.
