James William McDaniel, age 70 of Goodwater, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was a member of Estelle Community Church. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Linda McDaniel of Goodwater; daughters, Sonya Miller of Pennsylvania, Joyce Sanchez of Georgia, and Cindy Knight of Georgia; sons, Stephen McDaniel of Alabama; Jeffrey William McDaniel of Goodwater, AL; and Chirstopher James McDaniel of Talladega, AL; brother, Johnny Ray McDaniel of Goodwater, AL; sister, Betty Jean Walls of Alexander City, AL; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Estelle Community Church from 10:00 until 11:00 am. Funeral Service will follow at the church at 11:00 am with the Reverend Mark Deason officiating. Burial will follow at Estelle Cemetery with the men of Estelle Community Church serving as pall bearers.
