I'm just finding out about Jimmy's death. I remember when we first moved to Sylacauga, the Morgan's were members of the First Presbyterian Church. That's when I first met Jimmy and Ted. Please know that I'm praying for you all. I love you!

Such a loss, too soon. My prayers are for a peace through it all. God please be there each day forward as a peace for them all. Always Lord I ask that you give them the joy from their memories to help their sorrow. In Jesus name. Amen 

We just found out about Jimmy's passing today. Just a few weeks ago, we were talking and he was, like always, helping my family through a problem. Always a kind and generous man and a good friend, Jimmy will be missed very much. 

I only learned about Jimmy's passing this morning.  It was a heartbreaking discovery online.  Jimmy has been my family's ALFA agent for many years.  My late husband and I not only thought of Jimmy as our trusted ALFA agent but also as our friend. In fact, Jimmy was not only an agent for so many other people, but he was also their friend... and a priceless asset to several communities. He made this earth a better place. We shall miss him. 😢

Our thoughts and prayers are with Joetta and the family! I met Jimmy in 1993 , he was one of my Alfa agents, one of my best Alfa agents! 
But not only was he one of my best agents at Alfa he was one of my best friends. Jimmy and I played many golf games together! I enjoyed playing golf with him . Jimmy was a good golfer but he WAS NOT a good golf cart driver he and I played a tournament and was trying to find our ball and Jimmy DROVE the golf cart into a large DITCH and turned it over on us! I’m glad he wasn’t a big guy cause he fell on top of me when he turned it over on us! We both learned to watch where we were driving not just look for the ball after that! Well actually I learned to NEVER ride in a golf cart with Jimmy again after that I always drove!! I have so many stories about Jimmy and all good except the golf cart story! I loved Jimmy and He will be missed! 
I know Jimmy is playing golf in Heaven now but I’m warning all Angels don’t let Jimmy DRIVE the golf cart! 

Always a good friend and buddy. We verbally sparred all the time. Great days golfing together and would help you anyway he could. 

Love and sympathy to each of you in the passing of Jimmy.  Knowing this family for such a long time, I feel sure that you are comforted by the knowledge that you will see him again. I am thankful for your lives that witness of the love of Christ. May that Love sustain you now until that day when there will be no more sadness, sorrow, or death.

Jimmy Morgan was our ALFA agent.  We called on him several times in that capacity, and each time he helped us promptly and accurately.  To say we will miss him is an understatement.  We pray that God will bless his entire family.

So sorry to hear the passing of Jimmy.  He was a good man and respected by many .  The Alfa  family will miss him dearly .  Praying for the family ! 

We are so saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. He was a steadfast friend, wonderful husband, and father.  There were so many great memories of him that are too numerous to count.  I will say the Super Bowl parties at his house for the youth at Knollwood were so much fun.  Our lives are all richer for having known and been a friend of Jimmy Morgan.

I am deeply saddened over this.  I always looked forward to getting together with Jimmy, Ted and Jay whenever they came back home to Selma (NC) during the summer.  We had texted in September about hoping to get together this coming spring, as Belinda and I have discussed looking for a place at Lake Martin to eventually retire to.  We've been praying for all of you throughout this ordeal, and continue to hold you in prayer.  My God wrap all of you with blessings.  We love you.

I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy “Smurf” Morgan’s passing. Me and my brothers David, Paul and Joel played church softball with Jimmy with First Presbyterian Church in Sylacauga. That’s where he got his nick name. Everybody had one! I remember sitting with Jimmy in his Cutlass Supreme on the campus of then Alexander City State Junior College when he commenced to throw every 8 track tape he owned into the pond that was once on that campus. Jimmy was a great friend to me during my time in Sylacauga. He was a better man! Our prayers are with you and your family. David, Matt, Paul, Joel Remson and Missy Remson Donaldson. 

This makes me so sad. Jimmy was my Classmate he was always a good hearted friend. Enjoyed seeing him at our 40th class reunion. Praying for his wife and kids.

We were so saddened to learn of this overwhelming loss...please know that our hearts are mourning with your family. We will always cherish  the memories of Jimmy generously hosting (along with Joetta, of course) annual Super Bowl parties for the youth group at Knollwood. Although we are so sad at losing Jimmy, it does make me smile to think of him watching the Super Bowl this year from his heavenly mansion. Sending lots of love to you all...Robert and Joanne

We are so heartbroken over Jimmy leaving us but know he is in a beautiful place smiling as he was the first time we met him as a child. So many memories of our families together to cherish.  Peace and Love that only God gives to each of us is ask for your family.   We Shall Meet Again!
