James Scott (Bill) NicholsonSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for James Scott (Bill) Nicholson, 78, will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. James Beam officiating.  Burial will be in Childersburg City Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mr. Nicholson died Friday, November 20, 2015 at his residence. He was retired from the City of Childersburg as a truck drive after some 27 years of service.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.He is survived by his wife, Betty Nicholson of Sylacauga; sons, Greg Nicholson of Sylacauga and Dexter Nicholson of Weogufka; daughter, Nelda Gable of Weogufka; brothers, Howard Nicholson of Childersburg and Bennie Nicholson of Cedartown, GA; step-son, Eugene Stone of Sylacauga; step-daughter, Teresa Eddings of Sylacauga; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Matthew Nicholson, Andrew Nicholson, Eugene Stone, Johnny Eddings, Cody Peoples, Lewis Stone and John Stone.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
