Jennifer Coleman

Funeral service for Jennifer Harvey Coleman, age 60, of Sylacauga will be Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 1 PM with Reverend Hugh Kelso and Reverend Douglas Foster officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A native of Sylacauga, Ms. Coleman was a graduate of B.B. Comer Memorial High School and held a master's degree in Elementary Education from Montevallo University. She taught school for more than thirty years in the Talladega County and Talladega City School Systems. Her last position was at Zora Ellis Junior High School in Talladega. She also taught at Comer School and Phyliss Wheatley in Childersburg. Her love, devotion, and dedication was always in her work with children and youth. She was a devoted member of Hollins Baptist Churchfor many years later attending the First Presbyterian Church in Sylacauga with her family. She was preceded in death by her father: Richard B. Harvey and her beloved brother: John Harvey. She is survived by her Daughter: Jamie Coleman East of Ashland, Mother: June Foster Winters of Sylacauga, 4 Sisters: Judy Harvey of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Lisa Harvey Winters of Rockford, Lesley Winters Steele of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Carlotta Winters Wessels of Birmingham, 2 Brothers: David Bryant Harvey of Kansas, Terry Wayne Winters of Sylacauga. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
