Jerry L. Richardson

Jerry L. Richardson, age 74, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center. Jerry was born September 13, 1947 in Mississippi to Lela Mae Richardson and Vardaman Richardson.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Pam Richardson; his daughter Kim Howell (Stan Fisher); his sons, Wes McDanal (Laura) and Chris McDanal (Ceil); his grandchildren, Carlie Peel (Trey), Maegen McDanal, Peyton McDanal, Amylia McDanal, Nataleigh Grace McDanal, and Mari Hayden Reeves; his great grandchild, Ryder "The Boy" Peel; his special sister, Darlene Richardson, his brother-in-law Vin Reeves (Candi), his brother-in-law Michael Reeves (Jane), his brother-in-law, Mike Ryan and his sister-in-law, Michelle Ryan; and his neighbor Keith & Sharon Weldon; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Vardaman Richardson and his mother Lela Mae Richardson; his brothers Billy Richardson and Travis Richardson.

A graveside for Jerry will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Randall Jamieson officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Brookview Weslyan Church, 3699 Belmont Rd., Irondale, AL 35210 with a visitation starting at 11:00 AM.
