Jim Grimes

Funeral service for Jim Grimes, age 66, of Weogufka will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 at the funeral home.

Mr. Grimes passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father James "Sam" Grimes. He was employed at the papermill for 42 years and loved fishing, hunting and going to the beach.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Grimes, daughter, Wendy Nordquist (Pete), son, Jeremy Grimes (Christy), mother, Dottie M. Grimes, brother, Timothy Grimes (Amy), granddaughters, Anna and Emma Nordquist and grandson, Jesse Grimes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Parkinson's Foundation.
