John Wayne Thomas

John Wayne Thomas passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Due to Covid-19, an immediate family only service will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home in Sylacauga, Alabama. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Sylacauga, Alabama.

Mr. Thomas, age 84, was a resident of Cropwell, Alabama. He was born May 12, 1937 in Clanton, AL to Emmett Abram Thomas and Bertha Scarbrough Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bernard Thomas; his parents, Emmett and Bertha Thomas; his sisters, Gladys Solari, Flora Wilson, Eunice Cooper and Irene Hand.

He is survived by his children, Ricky W. Thomas (Nancy) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Tony L. Thomas (Vickie) of Huntsville, Alabama ; grandchildren, Crystal Tomlin, Christopher Thomas (Kim), Allison Wilson (Sam), and Jonathan Thomas; great grandchildren, Carter Wilson, Caleb Thomas, Ava Tomlin, Noah Wilson and Lucy Grace Thomas.
