Julia Beaty Stowe

Julia Beaty Stowe, age 104, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama passed away on November 19, 2022. A graveside service of celebration of her life will be held November 29, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Fayetteville United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Stowe, sisters Louise hickey (Luin), Agnes Beasley (Elmer), Evelyn Thomas (Coach Ralph), Sarah Tuck (RV), Margret Ruth Beaty, and Dorothy Pitts (Herbert); brother Thomas A. Beaty (Kay), and daughter-in-law Jan K. Stowe. She is survived by her two sons, W. Perry Stowe of Hoover, AL, and Dr. Cary L. Stowe (Patrice) of Winter Park, FL. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Dr. Will Stowe (Dr. Angela) of Mountain Brook, AL, Michael B. Stowe (Chrissy) of Cumming, GA, Dr. Jessica Stowe-O'Connell of Chicago, IL, and Caroline Ludwig (Chris) of Davenport, FL. and her five great grandchildren: Liam and Julia Stowe of Mountain Brook, AL and Henry, Jack and George O'Connell of Chicago, IL, and a brother H.H. Beaty (Nena) of Madison, TN, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of First United Methodist Church downtown Birmingham for almost sixty years. Julia will be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her servant's heart, selfless manner toward others, kind spirit, unconditional love, beautiful smile, love of flowers, and delicious home cooked meals will be cherished forever.
