Laura Denise Forbus was born on May 11, 1971, in Sylacauga, Alabama, and passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 54.

She is survived by her son, Tyler McGrady (Meagan); her daughter, Kristen McGrady; and her grandchildren, Saylor McGrady, Haisley McGrady, and Zylan "Zy" McGrady. Her parents, Willard "Tinkie" Forbus and Faye Forbus, also survive her, along with her sister, Memory Beard (Tommy "Butch"), and her brother, Michael Forbus (Belva).

Laura was predeceased by her brother, Scott Forbus, her grandparents, LV Forbus and Gladys Forbus, and her grandparents, Harvey West and Helen West.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown's Chapel, located at 90 Brown's Chapel Loop, Sylacauga, Alabama, 35151, on December 5, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
