Lena B. Fields

She is survived by her daughter, Rita Manning (Mike), and her sons, Robert Fields and Virgil Fields Jr. Her sister, Mary Spurling, and brother, Frank Foshee, also survive her. Lena is remembered by her grandchildren: Alesia Gardner, Jill Campbell, Ashley Thornton, Brandon Spurgeon, Rachel Davis, Tabitha Fields, Farrah Fields, Blake Fields, and Angel Ford, as well as several great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joe Foshee and Victoria Foshee; her daughter, Shelia Butler; her husband, Virgil Fields; her brother, John Foshee; and her sister, Frances Parker.

Pallbearers for the services are Mike Manning, Keeton Fields, Grayson Sanders, Terrell Lee, Jamie Sneed, and Billy Joe Fields.

A visitation will be held on January 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel, located at 1099 1st Ave NW, Childersburg, AL 35044. A graveside service will follow at Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Sylacauga, Alabama, starting at 11:00 am. Lena B. Fields will be laid to rest at Tallasahatchie Cemetery.
