Lewis V. (Bud) SmithSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Lewis V. (Bud) Smith, 86, will be Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Keith Owensby and the Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating.  Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Hanover, AL.Mr. Smith died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Sylacauga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Laverne Smith, and his parents, Frank and Annie Smith.He is survived by sons, John Richard Smith and wife, Robin, of Woodstock, GA, and Virgil Frank Smith of Sylacauga;  grandsons, Jonathon Dwight Smith and wife, Heather, of Athens and James David Smith and wife, Kenya, of Huntsville; granddaughters, Cindy Rollins and husband, David, of Jonesboro, GA and Stefanie Rivas and husband, Chris, of Douglasville, GA; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.Visitation will be Monday January 13, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Sons, grandsons and granddaughters will serve as pallbearers.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
