To my grandmother, who I loved so dearly, who we will miss you and love always, not a day goes by when you are not loved and missed. You have never been just ‘my grandmother’, but my guardian, my friend and my inspiration. I’ll make an effort not to cry since I know you’re at peace in paradise. Just your affection, thoughtful actions, smile, and gentle love will I miss. You were there for me from the beginning. You were not only close to my heart, but you are also my grandmother. You were always there to reassure me by smiling as you listened to anything I had to say. 
Take comfort in the arms of Christ and rest.
Goodbye mawmaw, you may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart. I love and miss you so much.
