Louise Abernathy Edwards

Louise is survived by her sister in laws Peggy Leftwich (Joe), Shirley Abernathy and Mary Abernathy; her nephews Johnny Harris (Wanda), Frank Hammonds (Beth), Jon Abernathy (Tracey), and James Abernathy, her nieces Anna Marie Lassiter and Snow White, her special friends Tina Brooks, friend Ann Russell and David, Mae, and Michelle Dungan.

Louise was preceded in death by her first husband Lester White; her husband J.D. Edwards; her son Mark White; her father Thomas Abernathy Sr. and her mother Linnie Watts Abernathy; her brothers Thomas Abernathy Jr., Jimmy Abernathy, Winston Abernathy, and Charles Abernathy; and her sisters Myrtle Harris and Frances Hammonds.

A visitation for Louise will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM. All services will be officiated by Rev. Trull Hill.
