Lynn was born on August 27, 1947, in Sylacauga, Alabama to Omie Louise and Lynn Ralph Latimer. Lynn loved her family, her pets through the years, and especially her grandson Nolan. Lynn graduated from Sylacauga High School in 1965 and then attended Auburn University and graduated from Georgia College at Milledgeville.
Lynn married James A. Veal in 1967 (1998) and they started their journey in Macon, Georgia. A couple of years later moving to Birmingham, Alabama where they welcomed their only son Todd. They also lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, and then moved back to Georgia where they settled in Marietta in 1988.
Lynn Married Robert S. Pahl in 2006 and they lived in Holy Springs, Georgia. Lynn and Bob enjoyed traveling on cruises and hanging out with friends.
Lynn retired from teaching in 2007 from Dean Rusk Middle School in Cherokee County, Georgia after 33 years of dedicated service.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Bob Pahl, (Acworth); son, Todd Veal and wife Jenny, (Acworth); grandson, Nolan; sister, Cecil Latimer, (Birmingham); two nieces, Lynn Farley, and Jaime Bratton; her two stepsons, Doug Pahl and wife Deani, (Columbus); Chris Pahl, (Atlanta); step-grandson, Wes; step-granddaughter, Ava.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lynn Ralph Latimer, and mother, Omie Louise Latimer.
The family invites you to join them for Lynn’s Memorial Service. The Memorial is on Thursday, November 10, at 11 AM, at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, AL 35150
