Mrs. Margaret Ann Beck, age 69 of Sylacauga, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at University Hospital (UAB) in Birmingham, AL. She was retired from Russell Mills. Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mrs. Lessie Pagett and Mr. Samuel Pagett, and a brother, Mr. Paul Pagett. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Wallace Beck of Sylacauga; a daughter, Mrs. Vickie Beck Taylor of Sylacauga; two granddaughters, Ms. Elizabeth Weathers and Ms. Gracie Taylor; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Nell Cummings. Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son North Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:30 until 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with the Reverend Don Graves officiating. Pallbearers will be: David Weathers, Frankie Owens, M.C. Grantham, Matt Grantham, David Beck, and Donnie Maddox. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Billy Mask and Mr. Ted Welch. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
