Marie McEwen

Marie McEwen, age 70, of Goodwater passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Marie was survived by her son, Roger (Pokey) McEwen, Jr. (Paula) of Hanover; sister, Lisa Floyd (Gary) of Childersburg; three grandchildren, Brittany Wade, Joey Wade (Katie), and Selena McEwen-Wood (Nick); great-grandchild, Bailey Wade; nieces, Mandy Richards (Daniel) and Michelle Green (Buddy); nephew, (Matt Floyd); great niece Avery Richards; great nephews, Nolan Richards and Alex Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger McEwen, Sr.; father, Durwood Key, Sr.; mother, Anita Chappell Brown and brother, Durwood Key, Jr.
