Marie Louise (Tootsie) BasingerSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Marie Louise (Tootsie) Basinger, 83, will be Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove with Rev. Max Buttram officiating.  She will lie in state one hour prior to her service at the Church.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. Basinger went to be with the Lord peacefully at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.  The Lord blessed her with John at her side.  She was born November 9, 1928 in Sylacauga, AL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bertha Price; daughter, Sandy Mayfield; brother, Gene Price.She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, John Basinger, Jr.; son, Michael Basinger, wife Renee; grandchildren, Chris Basinger, wife Bethany, Chad Basinger, wife Misty, Scott Mayfield, wife Mandy and Lynn Mayfield Barnett; great-grandchildren, Jordyn Basinger, Logan Basinger, Riley Basinger, Hayden Basinger, Blair Mayfield, Trent Barnett and Kirstie Barnett; step-great-grandchildren, Britt Robbins, Blake Atkins and Baley Hickman; great-great grandchild, Brynleigh; step-great-great grandchildren, Maddie, Lexi and Braden.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.Pallbearers will be Chris Basinger, Chad Basinger, Scott Mayfield, Blair Mayfield, Ricky Price and Clint Stone.  Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.The family wants to thank everyone at Sylacauga Health and Rehab that ministered to her, everybody loved her.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
