Marion Eugene Ingram

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; Manie Ingram and Eunice “Tootsie” Ingram and brother; Earl Ingram.

He is survived by, his wife; Gillian “Gail” Holmes Ingram, Children; Stephanie (Bobbie) Jones, Stephen (Vanessa) Ingram, Charlotte (Donny) Sorrels, and Angie Moore, brothers; Kenneth (Cathy), Robert (Chanda), and James, sister; Ann (Terry) Fields, grandchildren; SGT. Hunter Jones, Garrett Jones, Tara Kelly, PFC. Quinton McLendon, Kyle Youngblood, Renna Youngblood, special cousin/brother; Pete (Jeri) Giddens, estranged son; Mark Ingram, two sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, and beloved pets; Petie, Gussie, BA, and peanut.

Gene enjoyed time with family and friends and riding his Harley and going to bike rallies. Gene spent many days working in his yard which he and his wife loved. Gene was a proud member of the 173rd Air borne brg. In the U.S. Army. He spent 1 tour in Viet Nam.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Lakeside Hospice nurses, Deanna and Linda for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 2pm with a visitation from 11am until service time. Rev. Tommy Giddens to Officiate.
