Sylacauga, AL - A private family service for Mary L. Unger, 71, will be Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. David Vick officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery in Hanover, AL.

Mrs. Unger died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her daughter, April Dawn Unger, and parents, James Milton Smith & Nadine Morris.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Unger of Coosa Co.; son, Richard Thrower of Sylacauga; daughter, Sharon (Andy) Hamilton of Coosa Co.; grandchildren; Kelsea Parker (Justin), Amanda Johnson (Aaron), John Oliver Barnett, and Joshua Hamilton; great grandchildren; Benjamin Thrower, Emilie Parker, Brantley Parker, Austin Barnett, Ella Hawthorne, Noah Johnson and Wells Johnson.
