Sylacauga, AL - Melanie Cullins Thornton, 58, died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Cullins.

She is survived by her spouse, Tony Mealer; two sons, Joshua Thornton, Jackie Thornton; daughter, Shelby Mealer; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, Sybol Anding; two brothers, James Cullins, Wally Kellet; and two sisters, Dawn Cullins, and Terri Kellet Sullivin.

A memorial service will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel.
