Michael Anthony Barden

Sylacauga, AL. – Michael Anthony Barden, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Michael is survived by his children, Crystal Brewer (Josh), Steffeny Barden, Hether Abrams (Chase); brother, Cabot Barden (Lucy); grandchildren, Swayde Brewer, Angel Brewer, Kinley Abrams, Keylee Brewer, Adalynn Abrams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Drew David Barden Sr., mother, Lucy Barden Key; brother, Drew David Barden Jr.; half-sister, Jacqeieline Whitfield; stepbrother, Durwood Key Jr.; and stepsister, Marie Key.

He loved music and played a variety of instruments his whole life, but mainly the keyboard. He toured around the southeast even writing multiple original songs.
