Myrtice Marie Pope

Alpine, AL - Funeral service for Myrtice Marie Pope, 74, will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Wayne Henderson officiating.  Burial will be in the Mooney Cemetery in Weogufka, Alabama.

Mrs. Pope passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pope and grandchildren, Bradley Allen Waites and Brandy Marie Waites.

She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Allen) Waites of Alpine; grandchildren, Brayden Waites, Shayla Waites, and Bryan Waites; two step-daughters, Jamie (Tim) Murray of Sylacauga and Felicia (Gene) Kelley of Weogufka; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Ann (Jimmy) Thornton of Sylacauga and Diane Dew of Lincoln.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Thornton, Russell Thornton, Martin Dew, Brayden Waites, and Allen Waites.
