Funeral service for Nina Barnett Murphy, age 67, of Sylacauga will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Brother Clarence Denney officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her father: Howard Barnett, mother: Mary Ruth Barnett Conn, brother: Bobby Barnett and sister: Rudine Hosey. She is survived by her sons: Steve Carden and wife Stephanie, Shaddix Murphy and wife Crystal, Chris Murphy and wife Meredith, daughter: Melanie Bice and husband Casey, brothers: Howard Barnett and wife Brenda, Roger Barnett and wife Judy, sisters: Jeanette White, Esther Goswick, Hazel Ragsdale, sister-in-Christ: Betty Long and husband Mickey, grandchildren: Mistie Murphy, Courtlyn Higginbotham, Jessica Murphy, Hannah Lyner, Kelsey Murphy, Amber Murphy, Emily Murphy, Ty Sims, Cayden Bice and numerous nieces and nephews. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the services.
