Mrs. Ollie M. McKinneySylacauga, AL - Mrs. Ollie McKinney passed away Monday, February 20, 2012.  Homegoing celebration will be Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Horace Blount, III officiating.   Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Mrs. McKinney was born May 31, 1932 in Coosa County Alabama to Allen McCain and Minnie Adams McCain.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William McCain and Donald McCain and a sister, Bonnie McCain.  She confessed Christ at an early age.  Mrs. McKinney was a member of St. Thomas UMC where she served as a choir member and usher board.  She was retired from Kimberly-Clark.She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kempis McKinney of Sylacauga; 4 children, Avery McKinney, wife Nellie of Sylacauga, Elroy McKinney, wife Laura of Elizabethtown, KY, Jervay McKinney, wife Septene of Mission Viejo, CA and Gloria McGowan, husband Joe of Childersburg, AL; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, James McCain of Birmingham and Clyde McCain, wife Clotielde of Southfield, MI; 4 sisters, Dorothy Jones, husband Billy of Gardendale, AL, Betty Watts, husband Steve of Long Beach, CA, Judy Marshall, husband James of Birmingham and Virginia Bryant, husband Billy of Reynoldsburg, Oh; one sister-in-law, Georgia McCain of Birmingham; one aunt, Ada Smoot of Goodwater; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
