Oscar Ray Stephenson

Oscar is survived by his son Ronald Ray Stephenson (Jan); his daughter Cherlynn Murphy (Greg); and his daughter Valerie Gayle Scoggins; his grandchild Samuel Abraham Miller, his grandchild Rebekah Rey Miller, his grandchild Joshua David Miller (Satoe), his grandchild Alana Brooke Phillips (Joseph), his grandchild Garrett Ray Stephenson, his grandchild Kathy Lynn Hammonds (Kevin), his grandchild Davona Sheyvon Laurin (Johnathan), his grandchild Stephen Bret Scoggins (Angelica), his grandchild Kara Gayle Eslinger (Lee), his grandchild Bradley Chad Stephenson (Terra), his 14 Great Grandchildren and his several Nieces and Nephews.

Oscar was preceded in death by his wife Nancy June Stephenson; his son Bradley Scott Stephenson and his daughter Kathleen Jenice Walters; his father Bob Stephenson and his mother Etta Stephenson; his sister Mary Josephine Young and his sister Bennie Clyde English.

A visitation for Oscar will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Oscar will be laid to rest in Tallasahatchie Cemetery, Sylacauga, AL.

Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Stephenson, Stephen Scoggins, Chad Stephenson, Kevin Hammonds, Lee Eslinger and Greg Murphy.
