Raymond Eugene Hamlett

Sylacauga, AL. - Raymond Eugene Hamlett, age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Sheila Curtis (Tim); son, Daniel Hamlett; sister, Mary Epperson; grandson, Brandon Newsome (Racheal), granddaughters, Brindis Hamlett, Sarah Hill (Caleb); and daughter-in-law, Kathy Hamlett.

Raymond was preceded in death by his son, James Robert Hamlett; parents, RH and Ella Vincent Hamlett; brothers, Robert Hamlett, Roy Hamlett; and sisters, Helen Baird, Ella B. Austin, Vera Ruth McGalliard, Nancy Pauline Harris and Navarrah Hamlett.

The family will hold a memorial service Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, 50 Kings Rd., Sylacauga, AL. 35150 with Bro. Mike Dankson and Bro. Wayne McDaniel officiating.
