Roger D. Price

Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Roger D. Price, will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:45 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with  Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.

Mr. Roger D. Price was born on February 6, 1946 is Sylacauga.  He passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Bill Nichols Veteran Home if Alexander City.  He was 71 years old.  Mr. Price was preceded in death by his mother and father, Willie Hugh Price and Clemmie Kelley Price, three brothers, Troy Price, AJ Price, Howard Price, two sisters, Helen Heath, and, Beatrice Hendrix.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Price and children, Dale (Amy) Price and Lisa (Leslie) Ansley; grandchildren, Lily Frances Price, Catherine Price, Hunter (Mary Claire and child John Taylor) Ansley, Leslie Ann Ansley, sister, Judy Dean and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Price was a veteran who served in Vietnam and Germany as a radio relay operator.  After serving in the Army, Mr. Price worked as an electrician for many years, before opening his own electrical business in 1992.  He was a member of Bon Air Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday December 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
