Ronald "Ronnie" E. Rogers

Childersburg, AL - Ronald E. "Ronnie" Rogers was born February 1, 1950 and died January 1, 2021.

He is preceded in death by Robert Rogers (Father), Willie Mae Webb (Mother), Lucille Presley (Grandmother), and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Rogers; his Mama, Ruby Rogers Gentry; his siblings, David Rogers (Lynn), Steve Rogers (Penny), Karen Kelley (Joe), and Celeste Landers (Barry); his son Shane Caton (Pam); daughter Paige Shoemaker (Scott); his grandchildren, Matthew Lanier, Destiny Lanier, Danielle Lanier, Erica Caton, and Brittany Caton; his great grandchildren, Brayden Cramblett, Zoey Lanier, Lily Cramblett, and Brantley Majors. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews to cherish his memory. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Childersburg. He also served in the Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War from 1969 until 1971.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Childersburg, AL. Burial will follow the service at Talladega Springs Cemetery, Sylacauga, AL. with Bro. Paul Hickman Jr. officiating and Bro. Joe Kelley speaking.

Serving as pallbearers are Scott Kelly, Jeff Turner, Chris Rogers, Chris Sherbert, Junior Owings and Danny Robertson.
