Roy Steve Kennedy

Funeral service for Roy Steve Kennedy, age 79, of Sylacauga will be Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Mike Dankson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Kennedy passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Hay Kennedy and parents, Talmadge and Catherine Kennedy. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from US Air Force and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Kennedy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family and granddaughter.

Survivors are his sons, Randy Kennedy, Josh Kennedy, daughter, Kelly Kennedy Whitaker, granddaughter, Hannah Grace Whitaker and brother, James Kennedy (Glenda).
