Russell "Rusty" David Pruitt

Rusty is survived by his son Zachary Tyler Pruitt (Megan); and his daughter Melissa Ann Robinson (Austin); his brother Vincent Kevin Pruitt; and his grandchildren Chloe Phillips, Brantley Robinson, Levi Robinson, Ryker Pruitt and Asher Pruitt.

Rusty was preceded in death by his father Maurice Pruitt and his mother Emily Pruitt; and his sister Prudence Pruitt.

A graveside service for Rusty will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Rocky Mt Baptist Church Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Bro. Tommy Thornton.

Serving as pallbearers are Antron Williamson, Jacob Robinson, Neal Nappier, Barry Bryant, Kevin Pruitt and Austin Robinson.

Rusty served in the National Guard in Sylacauga for 6 years. He loved Nascar, fishing, and Auburn football. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
