Birmingham, AL. - Sylvia Thacker, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
Sylvia is survived by her two sons, Don Trimble (Roseann), Frank Thacker III; and two grandchildren, Brett Trimble and Frank Thacker IV.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Trimble and Frank Thacker Jr.; parents, Uhel and Bessie Hudson; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
A visitation for Sylvia will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, AL 35150 with Dr. Rick Patrick officiating.
She was known for her wonderful baking skills and was an executive secretary at Kimberly Clark for over 40 years.
