Tom Dan RobinsonWeogufka, AL - Funeral service for Tom Dan Robinson, 75, will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Don Evans officiating.  Burial will be in Newsite Baptist Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Robinson died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at his residence.   He was a member of Newsite Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.  He also served on the Newsite Cemetery Board and on the board of the West Coosa Senior Center.  He is a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Berlin Crisis.  He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Alan Robinson; brothers, Eugene Robinson and Lonnie Robinson; and sisters, Jessie Lee Caldwell and Jenny Bell Robinson.He is survived by his wife, Fannie Lou Robinson; brother, Hollis Robinson of Dadeville, AL; and sister, Elma Louise Hufstetler of Eutis, FL. Visitation will be Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Larry Caldwell, Mitchell Caldwell, Lee Jones, Newton Sanders, Thomas Glass and Greg Vick.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
