Vester Lee Jones

Vester is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jones; his sons Brian Edward Jones and Wesley L. Wright (Loria); his daughters Cindy D. Clifton (James S.) and Wendy L. Sims; his brothers Wayne Jones, Joe Jones, David Jones, his sisters Patricia Hurst and Faye Sinclair; his grandchildren Daniel Anding, Kayla Clifton, Miles Rogers, and Angela Rogers, his 6 Great Grandchildren, his special nieces Rachel Robinson and Sharon Crayton and his special nephew Josh Sinclair.

Vester was preceded in death by his father Odis Jones and his mother Annie Jones.

A visitation for Vester will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Newsite Baptist Church, 3104 Coosa County Road 56, Rockford, AL, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Vester will be laid to rest in New Site Baptist Church Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Pastor Russell Gooden.

Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Anding, Jonathan Jones, Josh Sinclair, Mike Jones, Daniel Bailey, Scott White and Steven Clifton.
