SYCAMORE - Funeral service for William Colllis Horne, 87, will be 2 p.m. Aug. 18 at Sycamore Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Parker and the Rev. Trull Hill officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Horne died Aug. 15, 2010 at his residence in Sycamore.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Billie Carver Horne.
Survivors are his daughters, Glenda McGrady (Ron) of Alpine and Phyllis Mitchell (Thomas) of Chelsea; son, Ken Horne (Donna) of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Sylvan Horne of Gatesville, Texas; grandchildren, Shelly Butorac (John), Russ Mitchell (Rachel), Kevin Mitchell, Heather Horne, and Matt Horne; and great-grandchildren, Addison and Sydney Butorac.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Aug. 17 at Curtis and Son North Chapel.

The family will receive flowers or donations to Sycamore Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Marshall McGrady, Chris McGrady, Don Keel, Jackie Mims, Andy McGrady, and Jerry Webster. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons at Sycamore Baptist Church.
