Morgan Leonard "Buddy" Lariscy

Columbia, SC – Morgan Leonard Lariscy, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Palmetto Health-Richland in Columbia, SC. He was born in Jenkins County, GA, to the late Walstein “Bo” Lariscy and Elise Claire Herrington Peeples. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant and was of Presbyterian faith. He was preceded in death by his Sister: Rebecca Brozard.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Brandi Claire L. & Kevin Avant of Columbia, SC; Sister and Brother-In-Law: Wanda Claire & Jerel Hughes of Statesboro, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Russell Brantley & Laverne Lariscy of Mineral Bluff, GA; One Grandchild: Nils Avant of Columbia, SC; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services: Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with Rev. Patricia McDonald officiating. Burial at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Russell Lariscy, Dr. Chris Lariscy, Chad Lariscy, Kevin Avant, Jerel Hughes, Benjamin Hughes, Jody Hughes, Bobby Herrington and Dawson Herrington.
