Reba Mae Mills Lariscy

Sylvania – Reba Mae Mills Lariscy, age 95, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Screven County, GA, to the late Willie Mills and Daisy Mae Willis Mills Lee. She was a partner in Lariscy Properties and a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church. She loved working with flowers and was an artist, having a great love of painting, and was a charter member of the Sylvan Heights Garden Club. She also was a member of the Thursday Afternoon Rummy Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Metzger Lariscy, her parents, her step-father, Fred Lee, Sr. and her brother, Fred Lee, Jr.

Survivors: Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Larry M. Lariscy and William & Jan Lariscy, all of Sylvania; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews and her special pet, Mr. Biggs.

Visitation: Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Faulkner and Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Chris Martin, Mack Faulkner, Nat Bacon, Brett Stubbs, Dr. Michael Turner and Pat Lancaster. Honorary Pallbearers: Sylvan Heights Club, Elise Strickland, Virginia Miller and Mary Simmons.
