Shirley Elizabeth Massey Starling

Sylvania – Shirley Elizabeth Massey Starling, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Optim Medical Center-Screven in Sylvania. She was born in Chatham Co., GA, was a retired claims adjuster for Cigna and was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Harold Noel Starling, Sr.; Parents: Edgar & Lenner Lillian Williams Massey.

Survivors: Daughters and Son-In-Law: Barbara Ann Bass and Brenda Sue & Richard Foster, all of Jacksonville, FL; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Harold “Skip” & Nathalie Ann Starling of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Crystal Starling, Amanda Starling and Natalie Starling, all of Sylvania, George Bass, Jr. and Richard B. Foster, both of Jacksonville, FL and Jacqueline A. Foster of Fleming Island, FL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Friday, December 14, 2012 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Sylvania First Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial at Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery in Pembroke, GA.

Pallbearers: Mike Yarborough, Brian Cohen, John Karrh, Tony Sheer, Rodney Lariscy and Todd Williams.
