Virgie Dell Johnson Brinson

Sylvania – Virgie Dell Johnson Brinson, age 79, passed away on October 16, 2016, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born in Jenkins County, GA to the late Virgil James and Dicie Newton Johnson and was a member of Middle Ground Baptist Church. She worked as the City Clerk of Rincon, GA for several years and also was a homemaker. She loved to donate to charitable organizations and loved to be with her family. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Daughter: Janice B. Day; Brothers: Murrell Johnson and Virgil Maurice Johnson; Sister: Angela Outlaw.

Survivors: Husband: Robert F. Brinson, Sr. of Sylvania; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Donna B. & Howell Lariscy of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Robert F. Jr. “Frankie” & Tonya Brinson of Sylvania; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Mary J. Pitts of Twin City, GA, Robbie J. & Farrell Burner of Keysville, VA and Virginia J. & Joel Weatherford of Millen, GA; 5 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 3:30 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick West officiating. Burial following at Middle Ground Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jerry Brinson, Larry Brinson, Randy Johnson, Jay Weatherford, Greg Day and Johnny Johnson.
