Kevin is survived by his loving partner, Judy Duva, and his daughters, Kim George (Luke) and Lauren Behan (Sean); Judy's daughter, Kimberly (Meredith); Judy's son, Matthew; and Kevin's grandchildren, Ella George, Kevin George, Molly Behan, Delaney Behan, and Thomas Behan. Kevin's surviving siblings include Edward (Nancy), Monsignor Thomas, Anne, William (Jeanne), and George (Ellen). He was predeceased by his brother, John (Lois), and Judy's son, Christian.
Born on May 13, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, Kevin was raised in West Hempstead by his parents, Anne and Edward Harold. He was a proud graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle and St, John's Preparatory in Brooklyn, and attended Niagara University. After residing in West Hempstead and Valley Stream, Kevin moved to Bayville in 1998, where he and his loving partner, Judy Duva, shared a life together until his passing.
Kevin had a career working in film in New York City, and most recently drove limousines for the funeral industry.
Kevin lived a life full of faith as a dedicated usher at St. Gertrude's, Bayville. He was an avid golfer, talented gardener, and loved to cheer for the Atlanta Braves and New York Giants. He could be referred to as a wise handicapper who enjoyed spending time in Saratoga with Judy each fall. One of his proudest titles was "The Commissioner" of the Cousins Memorial Golf Tournament every June.
Visitation will be held at Beney Funeral Home, located at 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791, on June 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Saint Anne's Church, 35 Dartmouth St, Garden City, NY 11530, on June 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The committal will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590, on June 21, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Kevin will always be remembered as a devoted partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose life was marked by faith, love and wisdom.
